What is CMR?

CMR is an international waybill, which serves as proof of accurate and timely supplied consignment at the final unloading place. It can also be defined as a tripartite contract, to which the shipper, the carrier and the recipient of the goods are parties. The international model of CMR consignment is a set of seven identical consecutive numbered sheets .

The greatest responsibility under this International waybill is for the carrier who is responsible for the total or partial failure or damage of the cargo from the moment it is accepted for carriage to the moment of its delivery and for possible delay of the delivery.
